Bag packing event in Dunnes Stores this weekend
Please see the attached letter that was given out to all children in the school today. Your support for the bag packing initiative in Dunnes Stores on Friday and Saturday next, 16th and 17th May, would be very much appreciated. I would be really grateful if one representative from each family would help out at some point during the event.
School Self Evaluation (SSE)
Last year, our school focused on literacy for the School Self Evaluation (SSE) process. This year we are focusing on the skill of problem solving in Maths. We are asking all children and their parents/guardians to fill in the relevant SSE questionnaire on the school website.The password for the parent/guardian questionnaire is sse2014 (letters are in lower case). The password for the student questionnaire is Mull4ngar. Please contact the school secretary if you or your child have any difficulty accessing or completing the survey.
School Closure
Presentation Senior School will be used for the local and European elections on Friday 23rd May 2014. As a result, the school will be closed on this date.
Relationships and Sexuality Education Talk (RSE)
Thank you so much to the parents/guardians who attended the RSE talk in the school yesterday evening. A copy of our RSE policy is available in the policy section of the school website. A copy of the Busy Bodies teaching resource used by teachers to teach the sensitive sections of RSE is also available in this section of the website.
