Dear Parents/Guardians,
To celebrate the feast of the Sacred Heart, the children and staff in the Presentation Junior and Senior schools will attend a special ceremony in the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar, at 12pm on Friday 7th June. The ceremony will end at approximately 12:30pm. Children who do not wish attend will be supervised in the school at this time.
We would be absolutely delighted if parents and guardians of children attending the junior and/or senior school also attended this special ceremony. If any parent/guardian of a child in the senior school wishes to take their daughter/son home immediately after the ceremony, they are requested to do the following:
- Write a note to the class teacher explaining that you would like to take your son/daughter home immediately after the ceremony. The teacher should receive this note on or before Friday morning.
- Meet your daughter/son with the class teacher at the end of the ceremony so that the teacher is certain that all children who are not returning to the school have been collected by parents/guardians.
I would like to remind parents again that family tickets for the race night on Saturday 15th June are available at a discounted price of €15 from the school office. Single tickets are also available at a cost of €10. All children or adults who purchase tickets in the senior school will be entered into a draw for two tickets for the One Direction concert in Dublin scheduled for May 2014. We would be extremely grateful for your support.
We look forward to meeting you in the Cathedral on Friday 7th June and again at the Mullingar Greyhound Stadium on Saturday 15th June.
