As you all know, students are asked to leave their mobile phones in the secretary’s office in the morning before classes begin. We ask you to hand up your phones for the following reasons:
- We do not want learning to be disrupted by phones ringing in the classrooms.
- We want to protect the privacy of students and staff members by making sure that mobile phones are not used at school to record images, voice or video.
- We do not want mobile phones to get lost in school.
I am working with the teachers to write a school policy about the use of mobile phones and mobile devices in school. This is a set of rules that we all agree to follow. I would like you to have a chance to give me your feedback.
