Healthy Eating

The importance and benefits of children developing healthy habits for a healthy lifestyle cannot be underestimated. Children who exercise and eat a good diet have a much better chance of being able to concentrate on their schoolwork and so achieve success. The ‘Food Pyramid’ guide to healthy eating┬áhas been updated by the Department of Health and our school ‘Healthy Eating Policy’ has been updated also.

Pupils received a copy of the new policy in January 2018 and we ask parents/guardians to study it with your child and to co-operate with it in terms of the foods he/she brings to school.
