Healthy Eating

The importance and benefits of children developing healthy habits for a healthy lifestyle cannot be underestimated. Children who exercise and eat a good diet have a much better chance of being able to concentrate on their schoolwork and so achieve success. The ‘Food Pyramid’ guide to healthy eating has been updated by the Department of Health and our school ‘Healthy Eating Policy’ has been updated also.

Pupils received a copy of the new policy in January 2018 and we ask parents/guardians to study it with your child and to co-operate with it in terms of the foods he/she brings to school.
